Advantage

• The majority of Linux variants are are at free of cost or at a much lower cost than Microsoft Windows.
• Linux is and has always been a very secure Operating System (OS). although it is still attacked when compared to Windows, it much more secure.
• The majority of Linux variants and versions are notoriously reliable and might often run for months or years and no need to be rebooted.

Disadvantage

• Although the majority Linux variants have improved dramatically in simple use, Windows is still more easier to use for new System users.
• Linux contains a massive form of available software programs, utilities, and games. However, Windows includes a much larger choice of available software.
• Linux companies and hardware manufacturers have created great advancements in hardware support for Linux and today Linux can support most hardware devices.

However, many companies still don’t offer drivers or support for their hardware in Linux.

1. Microsoft has created many advancements and changes that have made it a much easier to use Operating System (OS), and though arguably it should not be the easiest operating system, it’s still Easier than Linux.
2. Because of the massive amount of Microsoft Windows users, there’s a much larger choice of available software programs, utilities, and games for Windows.
3. Microsoft Windows includes its own help section, has huge amount of available on-line documentation and help, as well as books on each of the versions of Windows.

Disadvantage

• Windows Hosting is more Expensive as compared to Linux Hosting.
• Although Microsoft Windows has created great enhancements in reliability over the last few versions of Windows, it still cannot match the reliability of Linux.
• Windows Hosting was more riskier than Linux Hosting but now a days it is getting improved.
